I had Progressive, and my rates went up by about 20%, so I switched to USAA. With USAA, I ended up getting better coverage for the same price I was originally paying with Progressive.

I was paying $177 per month with AAA for a single vehicle for years, but at my recent renewal, they raised my rate to $369 per month, a huge increase of $192, citing statewide increases. It was enough for me to start looking at other options.

I had Allstate, and they wanted to double my premium even though I hadn’t had any claims in over 10 years. I decided to switch to Travelers instead because of that significant and unjustified price hike.

I’ve been with Nationwide for 23 years, and while I might be able to save a little by switching, I currently pay $101 a month for two cars (one with full coverage and one with liability). For me, having an agent I can count on is worth sticking with them.

My Progressive quote was just renewed at $787. I drive one car, a 2016 Acura TLX, and I’m 19 years old. This significant increase is definitely making me consider other insurance companies.
