I got caught in their trap too. They sold me a “First Health Network” plan through Covered California, but it wasn’t a real PPO like they said. None of my doctors were covered, and my prescriptions that used to cost little suddenly cost hundreds of dollars a month.

It took me months to even get off their plan. During that time, they denied every single claim I made. Now I’m stuck with around $10,000 in medical debt because they never paid their part.

When I told my family and doctors about my experience with “Innovative Partners,” their immediate reaction was “are you being scammed? Because that sounds like a scam”. This made me realize it probably is.

I tried to get a refund after realizing I was misled, but they made it impossible. Another user couldn’t get a refund through their bank either, though the bank did replace their card. This suggests it’s a common issue.

They pulled the same trick on me! They pretended to be my real insurance company when I searched online and signed me up for this plan I never asked for. Then they charged me $500 and sent a bogus insurance card.
