I used Embrace for my last couple of dogs. While I haven’t had a major emergency yet, I feel the policy would pay for itself after just one ER vet visit, which gives me peace of mind knowing that Labs can be prone to accidents.

I have Healthy Paws for my Lab, and he gets allergy shots every 7 weeks. We have a $250 deductible, and Healthy Paws reimburses us 80% after that. It also came in handy when he had gas and minor pancreas issues.

I tried Spot for my puppy’s spay, which cost $750, and they only covered $150. Also, a lot of standard vaccines weren’t covered under my plan. Based on this experience, I found their coverage to be inadequate for routine care.

I have Healthy Paws for my little skipper who has bone cancer. We’ve submitted around $28,000 to $29,000 in claims, and they have paid back roughly 73%, which is close to the 80% reimbursement I’m supposed to get after the deductible. It’s been a significant help with his ongoing treatment.

I had Spot for my cat and had a $1200 vet bill in December. I submitted a claim and received my reimbursement within two weeks. Being specific about why I brought my pet to the vet and how it wasn’t preventative care seemed to help with the process.
